After quite a long hiatus (due to personal issues), I am back on it. This time even with a project idea: With Corona still up and running, I am kind of “stuck” in my parents place. They have at the moment four freezers in the house which is not manageable and chaos is just everywhere. My father did have an Excel file for all the foods he had in there, but it crashed and he cannot recover it (and no, no backups).

So yes, the perfect start for a little inventory app.

I wondered if I should do it with php + MySQL as I have some experience with it, but decided to go all in with NodeJS and MongoDB after all.
